Kristy Lee Benson's success story
"I'm looking forward to a summer where I can go to the beach and not hide my body"
Kristy is glowing with good health after losing 20 kilos.
“I would recommend Tony Ferguson to anyone. It’s fantastic! It just changes your whole life. Really, I never thought I could do it, but in the first week I lost 3.8 kilos. That showed me I could.
You get so much support and it actually works. The girls at the Terry White Chemist in Hervey Bay were excellent. I’d come in and brag about how well I was doing and they’d encourage me more. Plus they really educate you about food. Whenever I had a question they knew just how to answer it.”
Kristy considers the sound dietary science behind the Program to be one of the keys to her success.
“You know you’re getting all the vitamins and nutrition you need. It was really well balanced, and the whole time I felt healthy and full of energy. I’ve also been able to maintain it since. It’s really quite easy and the shakes and soups actually taste good. It’s affordable too. I spent less on the shakes than I would have on junk food.”
She has a new outlook on life these days.
“Every part of your life changes. I knew my life was really different when I was shopping for a dress. I was looking through the racks and a shop assistant asked if I’d like to see a size 10! That was amazing because up until then I’d never realised a size 10 was me.
Another time I was at the train station and I caught a reflection of myself. I saw a girl who was thin, with a waist and it was actually me. I wasn’t a size 18, and it wasn’t somebody else. That girl was me.
Now when I’m rollerblading I can go as fast as I want and be as free as I like. And I love being on the dance floor too because I know when people look at me it’s because I look good, not because I look like a big bowl of jelly in a dress.
In fact, someone even warned me not to get by just on my looks, which was crazy. I mean I never dreamed I could get by on my looks.
Now I live life to the fullest and enjoy everything that I didn’t even know I was missing out on.”
